New Berserk Series In Summer?! - Topic

nobody here is hating on the show, they're hating on how poor the animation is(i'd say there's more of an issue)

and they're right, it looks comical and does not fit the tone of the show. The first show was gritty, and dark. This is cartoonish and arrogant. Even the dialogue they chose to use makes Guts look cocky instead of mysterious in the first ep. The overall tone of the show is absolute garbage, just because it's Berserk doesn't make it good. The movies were horrible, this adaption is horrible. It's depressing when the fight scenes interested me more in something nearly 20 years ago.

I can't watch past episode 1.

not to mention they're also not adapting the manga well.
shits basically just as bad as the 3DCG/animation at this point.

Berserk 2016 is one of the lowest ranking series this season.
i wouldn't call it popular.

Or...they really simply don't like the animation.

Personally as soon as 3D comes on it feels like I'm watching Reboot. It's really bad. The story adaptation is doing alright-ish. And unlike some others, their 2d style is something I don't particularly dislike. I just wish the whole show was done like those scenes from the eclipse in the intro.
