Is it worth arguing if a 17 year old youtuber is attention seeking? I think almost every 17 year old is attention seeking to some degree, then add a platform like Youtube and the knowledge that 10's of thousands of people are listening. Seems pretty straightforward although i guess we can argue which things are attention seeking.

I don't see how the bolded is an example of "faking", especially since that line of argument has been used for any and all people who deviate outside the "norm" of gender or sexuality. That it's just a phase, or a cry for attention, or...

We disagree about this person but the they can be or identify with whatever they wish and should be able to do it without threat or mistreatment

I think having extreme views while being apathetic about the comfort of the majority is just that, and not indicative of attention seeking in of itself.
