Yeah.. this kid is definitely confused
I was going to ask earlier how many of these people are just involved in this for the fad aspect then I stumbled upon the label "transtrenders" and found Milo at the top
They're not confused. Milo's transgender narrative just isn't the traditional transgender narrative seen with folks such as Caitlyn Jenner, Laverne Cox, Janet Mock, Chaz Bono, etc. People are criticizing Milo for simultaneously identifying as transgender with masculine pronouns while also occasionally wearing dresses. In these peoples' mind these two factors cannot coexist because a dress is an article of "women's clothing". However, that perspective is not the one shared by Milo, and as such, to Milo there is essentially no "men's clothing" or "women's clothing". There is only "clothing" and consequently Milo, like he says in the video, dresses how he pleases for himself, which includes occasionally wearing dresses. This does not, however, invalidate Milo's transgender identity.
Rather than Milo being confused, I would say that it is other people who're confused because their current understanding of what it means to be transgender is limited to traditional transgender narratives, and any iteration that exists outside of that traditional narrative is deemed invalid. It is a form of transgender gate keeping, and very unbecoming.
