The game is not dead and won't be dead for a long time.

People who say it's dead are simply hating on questionable patches/expansions. Just because the game is bad compared to what was promised to us in 2010, does not mean people aren't playing.

The game has as few of people as Guild Wars 1 at this point.
Mega servers sort of hide the low population.
But I'll guarantee you that there are only about 1000 players or less even, logged in to GW2 at any given point in time of the day, littered around all areas.

If Arena-net doesn't get serious and pull a miracle out their ass, GW2 will have half those log-ins this time next year.

thats a ridiculous accusation and very far from the truth, it would take alot even for guild wars 2 to have that little of a player base

i would say anywhere from 10k to 50k people if you count the inactive players who still log in every once in awhile

which is enough for a game such as it to survive anyway

/e its just so much less than it was even a few months ago when the expansion released

I said logged in at a single point in time. Not how many log in and log out per day in a 24 hour time span.

If you think GW2 NA server has more actives than 1000 at a given point in time, you need to take a stroll around Tyria and pay attention.
