they have the same attack speed, and if you look at the damn avarage damage both daggers and axes at lvl 55 hit 77

edit; and on top of that, there's already heavy weapons, that takes you 2sec between your hits.

In my games, he deserves all the attention he gets. Makes climbing more enjoyable.
