People seriously discussing diversity in the Republican presidential primary field, I mean how could you not come here for your daily dose of political comedy?

Let's remember that Michael Steele, Condi Rice, Colin Powell, and Ben Carson we're all blacklisted from the Republican party for being negroes.
It's quite remarkable how truly terrible these examples are for what you're trying to insinuate. The most amusing part is that the first three have at various points received disproportionately-more opposition for expressing views that the standard white male Republicans have, LOL. I look forward to seeing what Carson's apostasy will be. That said, the embrace that each of these people have received is merely evidence of the GOP's tokenism problem.
Michael Steele was essentially ran out of town on a rail because the RNC thought his brilliant new proposal to bring GOP teachings "into hip-hop communities" (in his own words) was counter-productive to what should be the unwavering mission of the national party: the max-white electoral strategy. His might be the WORST name to lead with in your case.
