Because honesty has tended to be a political loser for Republicans in the modern political era. Such is life when you're pitching to the decided minority.

Lawrence Wilkerson is a pretty cool guy. I always loved the little bit of history that he jotted down a note to himself on that fateful day when Colin Powell was clued in on what he was to report to the U.N. re: WMDs in Iraq. Powell read his W.H.-provided briefing materials and came out of his office and then said rhetorically something to the effect of "I wonder what's going to happen when we send a quarter of a million troops to Iraq and don't find anything?" Wilkerson took the note down and then discarded it with some other papers and then realized he needed to go back and find it because it would later be significant.

You guys have 40 candidates. Of the diverse ones, none are serious contenders. You even managed to do worse than Bachmann for your token woman this election. I see you love the token black, and honestly he is better than the 9-9-9 Pizza Deal guy.
