it would be fiscally wise, but how would it mesh with your chosen religion? With Christ as your witness as you press the cold steel up to the base of his skull. Do you think Jesus will help you pull that trigger? better yet how many Hail marys do you think you'd have to say to get absolution?
the death penalty is a sentence that we cast on ourselves not just the killer, for we as society become killing animals. Killing a threat that has already been subdued and locked in a cell no longer a threat.
The only thing the death sentence does is exact an eye for an eye type revenge.
we really need to stop killing each other, and really work on saving each other.
