I don't understand why we don't just do a firing squad execution of people like this. Stand him in front of a firing squad, get it over with, and find an unmarked grave. Done. I mean I get the whole thing with the death penalty being that every now and then someone innocent might be executed. But when it's cut and dry in cases like this... just... get it over lol.

I agree completely. When the evidence is overwhelming, just take the guy out back and blow his brains out. It's fiscally responsible.

the death penalty is a sentence that we cast on ourselves not just the killer, for we as society become killing animals. Killing a threat that has already been subdued and locked in a cell no longer a threat.

The only thing the death sentence does is exact an eye for an eye type revenge.
