Looking to upgrade so I can run smoother atm gw2 is the only game I play thatbi set smooth and actually been Crashing (bsod) looking to spend around $200 don't have a set brand in mind just looking for a decent card for $200 or less prefer to be able to sli or crossfire at some point.

Current gpu don't matter as its way too old and processor is phenom x6 1100t

No reason to SLI.
90% of games wont even utilize it so you will just have a gpu collecting dust.

That may be and not going to sli atm was thinking later on when it starts to get a little outdated again

If i was you i would check if the cpu or the gpu is the problem.

well i was able to run this at 1080p with mostly high settings 20-30 fps on a Radeon 6850

In that price range I would get a GTX 960, because comes with free witcher 3. You can get them for 200.

Otherwise you'd really be fine with something like an R9 265 or a 270.

Heres a comparison between 6850 and 265

the 270 is about 10% stronger than the 265, so don't pay too much more for a 270 if you go that route.

gw2 puts a large tax on the cpu. what's your current card and cpu?
