From the fury master himself!

Edc is actually really good vs zealots in my experience (me being the zealot vs the fury).

It's a 6 frame weapon so it's kind of luck based. If you don't get stuck in block and you manage to land two or three hits, you'll win because of all the damage. Otherwise you're toast. Over time, botdz outperforms edc on a fury wolf.

A deadly strike visionary can be used on a fury if more DS is desired but you don't want to use Guillaume's. Set it up the same as you would a rare pelt in terms of jewel sockets.

What about Eth Zodded and 2x 40/15 Tombreaver w/ 150% FRW build for pubbing? Is that viable?

Was hoping to hit more DS % with fury.

Or maybe eth death cleaver works well with SS for pub?

The tomb reaver setup is the most common for pubbing. Learn to use the shift key to swipe the air. Fury will automatically target and hit anyone who gets in range that way.

Someone asked me if they can use enigma.

This is an example of a BotDZ, 30/60/9/9 Cerebus, Enigma, Ber Stormshield, 24fhr open wounds craft belt, 1x stat ring, 1x Raven Frost setup:

12k life is possible with a different helm/gloves. Jalals and crafted crushing blow gloves for example can get to 12k life, but your damage with be in the 6700 top range. I personally think you lose too much damage and defense like this, but it's usable if you don't want to use fort (which is occasionally barred from league duels).

I've been asked to discuss how Faster Hit Recovery (FHR) works more in depth.

The FHR breakpoint table for shapeshifted wolves is:

0% 7
9% 6
20% 5
42% 4
86% 3

280% 2

However, every attack doesn't cause the wolf to go into FHR.

If an attack takes 1/16 (.0625) of total life base* = 37.5% chance to cause Faster Hit Recovery
If an attack takes 1/8 (.125) of total life base* = 75% chance to cause Faster Hit Recovery
If an attack takes 1/4 (.25) of total life base*= 100% chance to cause Faster Hit Recovery

*this is calculated based on how much base life you have, which is constant, not how much life you currently have after taking damage.

A real world example:

Your druid has 9400 life.
Your opponent uses BotDZ and does an 6000 damage attack to you (close to an average hit without deadly strike).
*.50 damage reduced * .17 PvP penalty = 510 PvP damage.
510 damage/9400 life = .0542, which is less than .0625, so this hit cannot put you into Faster Hit Recovery.

If your opponent gets a Deadly Strike, and their damage is 12,000 * .50 damage reduced * .17 PvP penalty = 1020
1020 damage/9400 life = .1085 which is greater than .625 but less than .125, so you have a 37.5% chance to go into Faster Hit Recovery from this attack.

In order to force you into Faster Hit Recovery 100% of the time with 9400 life, your opponent would need to do 2350 PvP damage, which is 27,650 damage. This isn't realistically achievable for most duelers.

What this means for the average dueler:

Since most attacks will fall into the 0% to 37.5% chance to cause Faster Hit Recovery once you get more than 9k life, it isn't really necessary to go for the fastest breakpoint.

86 is realistically the fastest breakpoint you can get, but I never use it because I have more than 10k life and I don't want to lose out on extra damage and life that I can get by using 20% or 42% FHR.

86 FHR is really only important if you use Heart of Wolverine or have an otherwise low life werewolf. Stick with 20% or 42% and Oak Sage and you'll generally be better off.

Insert in the gloves catagory Ghoul Finger gloves. Attack Rating, Enhanced Defense, strength, dex, life. Very sexy pairing with 4frame weps.

Thats the only thing i can think of. And im being nitpicky, fantastic Guide.

Old rare stat gloves and modern crushing blow crafted stat gloves can work. However, I didn't list them because once you commit to them, you have to commit to them. If you use steelrends and bloodfists, you can swap back and forth depending on which helmet or pelt you are wearing at the time.

One of my best builds used stat gloves though, so you're right there is a place for them as long as you're not worried about swapping between Cerebus' and Guillaume's, for example.
