I think the more interesting discussion is how the U.S. let several high ranking Japanese war criminals off the hook in 1945 in exchange for secrets on biological weapons.

If the CIA bought weapons from Iraq, it's nothing worth reporting. We've done worse involving Nazis. Nothing the Iraqis have is better than what we have already.

Like santara said, it's probably a good thing if we bought WMDs to get them out of the country.

...I would classify the designers of the V-2 rocket to be outright war criminals . They designed and built weapons of retribution that were meant to kill as many civilians as possible . You surely wouldn't let Mengele off the hook just because he was a man of science .
