Hahaha, yep, that's how it goes. Once you get going though, It kinda snowballs. Minus all the Koroks, I did almost everything and the expansions in 75 or 80 hours. Hunting down the shrines is what took me the longest

I just got the master sword in master mode (had to trade all my stamina upgrades for hearts to do it) and then I tried the trial of the sword (xpac thing, GET THE XPACS) and holy fuck am I no longer disappointed with the difficulty in master mode. It's going to take me for fucking ever to beat all 3 modes. Just died like 3 times in a row on the first one, all at the same fucking part. I died like 3-4 times before I even got there. Think I got it figured out (was damn close on the last attempt) but I'm going to call it for the night

I just took down my first Divine Beast, that was really fun/challenging, I only had to use a guide on it once.

Was it on making the ice come out of where the water was pouring from? That was the one that took me the longest on that temple. All the beast quests are pretty amazing. There will probably be some parts that you have to look shit up, or you'll have to do what I did and spend 5+ hours wandering around getting irritated at the game.

nah, it was the 4th one when you had to paraglide from the trunk to the top and into the inside

i couldnt figure out why the fire wasnt shutting off before i realized i had to move the trunk over to douse it
