Defense was also solid after the first quarter .

And raptors played garbage players most of the second half.

Philly tommorow for a home and away

Yessir. The 4th qtr got a bit goofy at times but the Raps kept a solid margin.

I feel for Philly because Embiid hasn't had a chance to play against the Raptors. I enjoy watching him play.

e: also, what's with Kidd-Gilchrist? That dude got hurt at least 3 times in the game. Can't tell if made of glass, unlucky tonight, or really low pain tolerance.

Embiids career is going to fizzle out ... so much talent but he can’t not be hurt ... they couldn’t even play him back to back games ... I almost believed it was only overly cautious decisions by phillys medical staff... but who misses weeks with a sore back without getting injured?

I haven’t taken kidd gilchrist seriously since he got spanked 1v1 by a mid 50s year old Jordan ...

What do you think of DeRozans behind the back dish to Ibaka ?

Mans got skills

Also hitting 3s

MJ could probably drop 20 points in a game at age 50 so long as he knew he had 15 minutes to do it and then had a direct line to medical staff. I hope Embiid can stay healthy and get a good career under his belt. He's like Oden 2.0, but he's a better overall player. Incredible potential.

The 3s look better for him this year. Actually, he's doing everything better this year. The behind-the-back dish was impressive. Derozan has mastered the art of quietly having big nights and his efficiency is way up. He can put up 25 or 30 with ease, and his improved efficiency is a beautiful thing in the new system. idk what his ppg stats are right now but so far this has been Derozan's best career season just because he's doing everything better. He had a strong start last year but I felt the Raps were playing a lot more iso ball and his efficiency and overall play wasn't as good as it has been to this point in the season.

I think Anunoby has been phenomenal. I wish that Norm could find some consistency because he has a lot of talent but he seems to force things too much. Anunoby is much more raw talent, a bigger guy, and although he forces things at times he's much more reliable.

e: also, gn8 :)

45 pts, and we needed every one of them tonight.

Great comeback. I was pissed at one point when we were down by 19. I know the lead was 22 at worst, but I was pissed @ 19 because of what I was seeing on the floor. By the end of the 3rd qtr, I was encouraged, and the Raps played a man's game in the 4th. Great win, with a terrabad beginning.

This team is still a little inconsistent which is weird to say for a team that is 22-8. The first half against the Kings and the first half tonight scare me. Every team has off nights especially on back to backs, but a first half like that against a top tier team and you arent recovering. Its encouraging to see the comebacks and theres is a lot more good then bad with this team but there is still work to be done. Demar should be a top 5-10 mvp with the way hes playing and how good the team is. He is really starting to understand the game more and more. When his team is going and rolling well he is a distributor. Nights like tonight when they are struggling he takes over. The ball stops moving a bit but he takes over like a star does.

Truth ^. Their inconsistency isn't as bad as it was over the past few years but it's still there. When the full squad plays well the Raps are a hard team for anyone to beat. As a fan, it's frustrating to see how good they are at times and then to see them waver at times. It's all about habits and mindset.
