Just going to put this out here: the default A40 headset with no mix amp or sound card is capable of only stereo sound... You're going to have to invest a good bit of money if you want it to sound decent/good. As someone who has gone this route, I'd recommend you sell the headset and get something else. I like my sound, but I wish I'd gone with an open headset instead of closed since I'm now playing a worthwhile MMO and its not easy to talk to my bf when we're both playing and using closed headsets.

Don't know about you, but I'm having a lot of fun playing ArcheAge with my MMO guild whose core are all good friends outside of the game. Most of us see each other at least once every year when we attend Pax Prime in Seattle, WA together. Korean MMOs are the only MMOs worth playing.

I'd say it has similarities to Aion Online and Lineage 2. Leveling wise, it's much easier than those two but the gear grind is very real. The only way to get the best gear in the game is to craft it and there's a lot of RNG involved. You can definitely do a lot of things in game though as it's sandbox. If you want to be competitive in this game though, you'll need to have lots of time to play or throw a lot of money into the game. Like all Korean MMOs, it's basically like a second job if you want to be competitive end game.

As a reformed MMO junkie this is the kind of justification I used to use when pouring thousands of hours into a game. There are ways to bond with long distance friends that you don't have to pay monthly for and aren't specifically designed to cause psychological addiction and dependence.

Or you can just waste your life getting fat and sedentary killing progressively different dragons and shit on the internet. Whatever floats your boat, really.
