"The president is fond of referring to the House as the ‘do-nothing Congress.’ But we have 352 reasons why it’s a ‘do-nothing Senate.’"

"352 bills are sitting on Harry Reid’s desk, awaiting action."

"98 percent of them passed with bipartisan support -- Republicans and Democrats working together to pass legislation."

"50 percent of the bills passed unanimously, with no opposition."

-Rep Lynn Jenkins

Reid should have been gone last time he was up for reelection.

The GOP basically threw the election.

Awaiting whose action? congress. Harry Reid may be a majority leader but hes still just 1 vote- just like all members of congress.

How many democrats supported them? 1? 2? however many it was, it wasn't enough to win the support of the senate. Lets not forget the house is also roughly 45% democrat.

...passed the house, that is.

These accusations are pot-shots. Harry Reid is a drop in the bucket compared to the 535 voting members of congress. Get real.

Please look up what the senate majority leader does before posting random bull shit that demonstrates your lack of knowledge.

He posted the link in the OP.

The site says that the statements made are half truth.

Perhaps you could substantiate your criticism by being more specific about what exactly you think i don't understand. ...instead of making assumptions and random pot-shot with no supporting evidence.
I know what a senate majority leader does, a simple Google search could tell anybody that (this is really really easy). I'm also aware of his limitations of influence. His job is irrelevant to my points made in the previous post. What I was talking about is congress and their lack of cooperation that would actually result in bills that pass both the house and senate.

"50% passed" who passed? passed what? passed gas? passed go? gosh, how convenient for her to leave that little bit out.

They say it is a half truth because they claim the republicans aren't working with the democrats.

But they are wrong. 50 percent of the bills were passed unanimously.

The senate majority leader determines which committee the bills are assigned to. He also has control over who runs those committees.

So he sends all the bills he wants to shut down (being all of them pretty much) to committees he controls, where they never go to a vote.
