Ebola has just made the transition from non-humans to humans, nobody knows where this goes of when it stops.

This is the first time it has reached massive, densely populated human settlements. The virus mutates constantly, now that the primary victims are humans we should expect to see mutations favored which facilitate human to human transmission.
