Bullshit on this, cite plz?

Google life expectancy 120. Lots of articles, lot's of credible scholarly sources. Advancements in medicine will mean the things that typically kill us, organ failure, heart disease, cancer, brain wasting, will either be mitigated or eliminated. Advancement in gene therapy will mean negative genes can be eliminated in the womb. Advancements in technology to slow aging will become cheaper, easier, and readily available.

Do you know the definition of implication? I'd advise u read a bit on it.

"take health risks that enhance my enjoyment of life" Is implying he likes to eat fast food / candy or whatever it is instead of choosing to eat healthy. Because he finds joy out of it at a risk of a longer life, atleast that's what I got out of it.

He's saying that he is willing to sacrifice years of his life so that the years that he is alive are filled with more value.

If you had a clue you'd know Widow is a smoker and that is likely a large part of what he's hinting at.

Then why does he say "take health risks"?

How is smoking bring happiness into ones life? Ultimately, It degenerates life.. right?

No, many people obtain great joy from smoking.

Personally I decided that it wasn't worth the health risks for me and so I quit, but who am I to tell others that their enjoyment of smoking isn't worth it?

Or He could be talking about a million other things that could impact is life expectancy

- Giving birth ( obviously he's not a woman, but you get the point )
- Climbing Mount Everest
- Free style climbing
- Deep sea diving
- Tourism in "dangerous" countries
- Doing tricks with your dirtbike
- Donating a liver for a family member

And so on and so forth...

Ok I apologize, thought this was a eating healthy vs fast food and life expectancy thread. That's why I implied that. My fault.

For some people, the pleasure and joy of risky or unhealthy activities outweighs the fear and suffering that might come from their consequences. Indeed, sometimes when the consequences arrive, they become filled with regret, but sometimes they wouldn't change a thing.
