Politically? Ideologically? Culturally? It dominates them all.

Morally? I don't think anyone has the edge on that as far as scholarship is concerned.

in terms of power it's definitely the U.S.
like 18 out of 20 of the world's best universities are in the U.S as well

morally all countries are at least somewhat reprehensible (apart from perhaps Liechtenstein or something)

i'd not like to live in the U.S. though, nor anywhere else that doesn't border the Baltic sea :P

well, timber's nice and all but it doesn't really get you that far
and i'm sure that the Swedes don't depend on iron either
but how about Denmark?

do you live in Finland?

Voted Canada due to obvious bias. America would be the dominant world power

You keep saying this but refuse to give any reasons for your chosen country's supposed superiority. Stating something as fact doesn't make it so... give some fucking reasons.

It leads the largest alliance in the world? It's the largest political force in the world? It's relevant in nearly every bilateral and multilateral conflict?

Can you argue for any other nation having a greater political or ideological contribution? The United States is a central pole holding its side of the world together.

Might not be a frontrunner in every category, but Switzerland is by far the best place to live.

People on welfare here have a higher standard of living than middle class in the USA.

Yea...Switzerland is expensive a fuck. Cost of living in America is amazingly low which means we get to spend our wealth.

"by far"

you really think Switzerland is "by far" the best place to live?

I've literally never seen it once top any quality of life listing, it's virtually always Sweden, Norway, or Denmark

If you want to eat mcdonalds all day long, sure, but actual food costs are smilar, and here it's not just pesticide and gmos.

I do. I've been to each of those countries and my personal opinion is that there is no comparison.
