also, i use an outgoing and incoming firewall that uses windows native rules, u should check it out: tiniwall
I know about Tinywall. Bitdefender Internet Security's (paid) firewall is an in/out rules firewall on crack. It's a seriously decent firewall.
Trust me bro, I'm uber paranoid to begin with, everything that came with Win 7 that was a possible attack vector is gone...on my system. These are just the Application and General Firewall settings...I can also set rules for the Adapter itself as well...
Rules do not help when ur OS has been compromised, u should get independent firewall
Bro, I been doing comps from mainframes to PC's for 25 years...since 2000, I haven't gotten one single virus or malware infection. Also Bitdefender Internet Security...IS an independent firewall, nothing that happens to the OS can even affect the firewall, it's also password protected, and can't even be shut down....even in Services.
It requires a special tool that runs through, 6 times, just to disable or uninstall it. It's also the highest rated firewall on AV-Comparatives.
I don't know what this is all about, but my system is as secure as possible. Even a hardware firewall, like in a router, wouldn't improve on it.
Ur wrong. For the same reason servers use VMware, only a few malware can expand out, ur just wrong.
