All well and good....except for one problem.  in Verizon FIOS's case, the router IS the limiting factor.  It has nothing to do with speed either, as I said in the PM...Verizon's routers have NAT tables that are too small.
But for some reason you can't accept this.

That, as they say is not my problem.  So tah tah  :/

Why the fuck would u need to use a fucking verizon router? Use whatever router u fucking want... shit, did i say router? I meant any fucking dedicated firewall sep from ur OS...

Lol at being uber paranoid and using Windows.

Unix based you mean?

Unix would be the technically correct answer. :P

How you get so smarty

UNIX-like is a better term if we're nitpicking autists. Even XNU (X is not UNIX) is some hybrid franken kernel, sure it relies on some FreeBSD code but it uses it as an abstraction on top of mach.

Even FreeBSD isn't really UNIX, at least it shares a lineage to it, Linux was built from the ground up by some neckbeards.

Speaking on the topics, if you want a good dedicated firewall setup a pfsense box and make sure you wrap tin foil around everything in your home. Don't rely on vm sandboxing, some terrible anti-virus you probably paid real money for, or application firewalls.

After seeing infection spread outside of a vm, I don't think I will ever play/rely in/on the sandbox again.
