I read all the bolded ones, all verrrrry good, but did you like Year Onethatmuch?

Are you telling me you really haven't read 'The Dark Knight Returns'? Because before I answer you, I think we need to address that first...

But yes, Year One was an amazing story. Nothing flashy. Not a single classic Batman villain involved in the story really. Just an amazing beginning to the character that would become a legend.

Fair enough. How did you like the Superman: Year One?

Stop what you're doing and read TDKR. Don't stop reading till you finish.

Finish Last Son if you are almost done. But... uhhh my head. Seriously read TDKR and don't put it down till your done...

I don't know why I was under the impression that you had read TDKR. I've made so many references and talked it up and you just didn't say anything lol...

This changes everything. Read that. I am almost willing to bet that it makes the No. 1 spot in their 75 countdown on comicbookresources. It's widely considered to be the best, and if it's not, I can't wait to see what they think is... Honestly it might be Year One, which is always funny to me that Miller wrote the no. 1 and no. 2 greatest Batman stories ever.

I was like..."wait a second, Frank Millar didn't write Batman: Year One.

Then it hits me, I was thinking about Batman: Earth One.

Makes so much sense now.

Yeah... SO, does this mean you haven't read Year One either? Cause I have an idea about what you need to read after TDKR...

Oh, also, I don't know how you feel about DC's animated movies. But, they did a pretty amazing job with TDKR as a two part movie that came out recently. Peter Weller (Robocop aka badass voice) does the voice of Batman, and it's pretty amazing. But, don't you dare watch the movies before reading all 4 issues or the trade or whatever you have. Also, Year One is also was made into an animated movie. Not as good, but still pretty decent.

Not gonna lie, watching TDKR being brought to life in those movies had me pretty emotional on some of the parts. It's damn near perfect.

I'm at the final part of Last Son.

Wonderman is forced to break her lasso, and she turns old. Batman dies and inspires freedom fighters. Superman creates a firmer grip on his control in Russia.

There's some pretty cool shit in here.
