Well I mean since only PS is getting the beta I think that speaks for itself

after the 10 years they are expecting to work on the game, it will cost 500 million.



Playstation gets 4 days early access, but some in game content that won't be available for a year(fall 2015 at least they say) to xbox users.
This is only a couple weapons, and a multiplayer map.

But we will have to wait for additional content as well. It's a shame, because this isn't like other games... it's supposed to be an MMORPG. What we get to experience will be old news and we will have seen around, we will undoubtedly experience a lot of spoilers which can ruin the experience.

It's no big deal though not trying to be one of those guys

This. Ps3/ps4 will have 9 days to play the beta while xbox 360/one will only have 5 days. There is also some exclusive content for playstation, but it will be available for xbox later.


@denied: yeah, but is it 500 million on the same game or will they release more destiny title? Its not annouced yet, but rumors says there will be a destiny every two years, like battlefield.

I believe they are just going to add expansions (like the 2 they have announced)

Same. Like you said there are 2 expansion annouced, but i also heard there is a total of 4 dlc planned (but again, nothing official yet).

lmao its funny you say that, I haven't even thought about next gen. Undoubtedly Destiny will probably release a new expansion along with the next gen release

Just to clarify its 500 million overall, not develop the game. So, that's including marketing which will can add a lot to the budget.
500 million is still a lot of money but to put it in context Naughty Bear and Homefront were around the 175 million dollar range and it was all marketing for what turned out to be bad games.
All I am trying to say that 500 million isn't indicative of a good game but a shit ton of marketing.
