Is that all you came here to say?

We are good without god. We are kind without religion. Atheists get their morals from the same place religious people do: from the societies we live in. We evolved as social creatures and we've had to learn to live together. Our inherent compassion, altruism, and solidarity come from our desire to be good neighbors.

Just the other night a friend invited me to this game feast at the church he goes to, deer dogs, deer meat balls, pulled deer and elk stew was served. after the diner there was an old guy that told some hunting stores that involved god and from there he got into how with out god there is nothing after death, with out god there are no morals, with out god all you have to look forward to is dieing.
The ideas that with out god there are no morals with out god your life has no purpose beyond death are very real amongst the average christian but really dont stand up to the scrutiny of any one that has a world they have improved and people they have helped to look to when asked what is left after you die.
its a valid point despite the title and the links having little to do with it.
