im pretty sure that your %'s are just a little low, but i dont want to argue, i love your guide. it was a great read, probably the best i have ever read at all, first of its kind that i have read haha. im pretty sure that the %'s are more along these lines though: (note i am providing 2 seperate and dependable sources)

http://www.jpitems.com/diablo2mfguide.html#AItem Quality Probability Based on MF% - this is where i got this one
Character MF Level Magical Rare Items Set Items Uniques
0% MF 0 0 0 0
100% MF 100 100 100 100
150% MF 150 146 145 141
200% MF 200 185 183 171
250% MF 250 220 215 193

um i hate to tell you this but those are the incorrect % for 1.11b. Those percantages look like they are afor 1.09 or 1.10. Let me check for a second............... Yup, those are for 1.09. So if you are playing at home with a 1.09 version of the game, then you can use those numbers that d3mon12 posted. If you are playing on battle.net, use my numbers.

As I suspected even before clicking on the link, those numbers in the thread listed above are identical to mine. Both are for 1.11b version of the game.

Edit: besides, Hrus pulled his numbers from the ATMA calculator anyway.

How did this end up on the second page?

I did some further testing with my zon and I must say, doing chaos runs with an upped, double shaeled WWS is rather fun. Having the Laying of Hands on, amp damge casts, and double strike kick in, it takes like one maybe 2 arrows to take down a deamon. I dont see too much diference with the loss of 2 B&C skills that occurs from the glove switch. The only thing that does occur, is that it takes a little longer to kill the figher knights when amp damage is not cast. The added on bow IAS compensates for the loss of IAS on the gloves.

All in all, doing chaos runs with WWS + Laying of Hands is superior, in my opinion. I will take the short time that Amp is not cast in the slow killing as opposed to running without AMP. THe only draw back to this is that the Confuse from delirium overwrites the AMP on the critters. I need to find a good hat to wear for this setup. Maybe Tals hat for all the leaching and res? Maybe crown of thieves for the leaching? Maybe rockstopper for the res? Last resort would be guilmee's hat for CB as CB is soo nerfed on a ranged character.

Have you tried Atma`s Scarab amulet combined with another bow say Windforce or Faith? If not i suggest you try that too just to see if it suits your needs.

I had a wws zon in early 1.10 that i used for mf in Chaos Sanctuary among other places. All i can say is upped wws is a seriously underrated bow smile.gif. I remember the amp kicking in all the time.

I updated my bow to Windforce later though and changed my amulet for Atma`s because it also has amp damage built in. So in the end i didn`t lose the possibility to amp on strike and was able to up my damage by changing my bow. I found that combo to be better in the end then wws (atleast for me it was). The only drawback was iirc that all other equipment had to be sacrificed for ias equipment just to ensure that Amplify Damage on strike would happen as often as possible.

The only serious flaw with your suggestion is that WF is so damn hard for a player to find. The guide was writen for a newbe who just started playing the game. While WF is not that expensive, there is hardly anything that can be found early enough to acquire a WF bow.

That asside, Atma's ammy is sure a nice trinket. The downside is the Lack of IAS everywhere. Then again, with strafe and a delirium hat, who cares really about IAS. The confuse is constantly going off and you are free to pick off the monsters at your leisure. If only you could have 2 curses on monsters at a time.

Awesome guide! I started with a bowa as my first charachter for the sake of being able to chaos pretty much fearlessly. She is a great mf and gf charachter. With about 300% mf gear she still has passable res and I use a Vamp Gaze to cover leches and some DR. The Pit is an easy 2-3 minute run that can yield some great stuff. She has found me a CoA,2 Jalal's, 2 Eschuta's, Cerebus Bite, Valkyrie Wing, Bloodflame, Homunculus Head, a couple Shakos, the Skullders she wears, Arachnids Mesh, Verdungos, and a lot more that I can't think of at the moment.
