tonights dinner is a cambodian inspired stir-fry. i was looking at a cambodian cooking website but most of the stir-frys only had one or two vegs, and i wanted to do something a little fuller, so i took elements from a few different recipes and combined them. this was the result:
vegs: shallots, asian eggplant, shitake mushrooms, fuzzy melon, chayote (been wanting to try that out. its good.), snow peas
seasonings: soy sauce, young ginger, garlic, kung pao, tumeric, s/p, scallions, cilantro
has a great flavor, i really like the chayote, too, im gonna have to start using more of that. my wife liked it also. dunno about my daughter, though. she fell asleep, so she didnt get to try it tonight, but when she does it might be a little too spicy for her. oh well, she can deal with it.
