If I'm at a certain brewery in my city, I get their stout.

If I'm somewhere else, Left Hand Milk Stout if it's available. If it's not, Guinness.

Been drinking Dogfish since i was younger.

never knew at the time what IPAs or Craft Beers were but they always tasted different and were far more enjoyable than water beer lol.

but yea Dogfish Brewery has pretty good food as well.

really enjoyable if anyones within an hour or 2 of it,

worth the trip.

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, but was born in Germany. Naturally, beer is in my blood. My uncle Klaus works for the Andechs Monastery over there, brewing delicious, syrupy, doppelbock. It's pretty close to authentic English Ale if I had to say so.

When I was 19 and went to school, I ended up moving down to Chico, California to live with a high school buddy. I ended up finding a job as a barback at a place called The Bear (yeah, under 21, still got a job through friends). I remember everyone always drank this stuff called Old Chico. Eventually I asked what it was, and found it was Sierra Nevada brewery's crystal wheat.

I had never really tried much beer until that point, and I was hooked. I eventually got my references and such in order, and got to work at the Sierra Nevada brewery for a year. Every paycheck I got a case of beer.

To this day, my favorite and penultimate beer is Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. I've been all around the world and tried a ton of beer, but nothing tastes as good as mom's home cooking.
