It depends on whether you plan on playing the game casually or competitively in all honesty...
The game still has it's balancing issues (they just patched Saberwulf's auto-correcting Eclipse anti-air move for instance, it no longer auto-corrects and now Wulf is vulnerable if he spams the fuck out of it).
Imho, despite not owning an XB1 nor having access to the game, KI has much room for improvement and is looking good at this time from what I've seen.
The ones that complain about the game being bad are probably those that are stuck in the nostalgic moment of past KI's...or bitch about the game being imbalanced (as with every other next-gen fighter).
Meanwhile...Spinal is looking RETARDED OP atm. The new Fulgore design looks very promising.
