Fighting games only have lasting value if you dedicate yourself to it
Fighting games are extremely in-depth and can take months or even years to learn higher level strategies
I and many people still play Tekken.
Tons of people still play SF4
And I think Killer Instinct was going for that SF4 look in the first place so yea
I still regularly play UMK3
Ppl always asume they good in fighting games cause they know some individual moves oO
It takes months and month of practice if you wanna be real good and chain combos while breaking em..
Gotta keep a constant eye open for any arm/leg/stance movement so you can anticipate the attack used and counter or dodge and counter.. and keep doing it till its all reflex memory ><
I only know 1 guy that id say he s good at fighting games... but he s the least fun to play with
/e and none of the new games every compare to the feeling of the oldskool games..
MK9 was nice, real big jump imo but nothing like good old UMK3 or fucking 2 on sega...
Killer instinct on snes, soul calibur on DC
