Yu Darvish has two nice primary pitches, but no secondary pitches to throw off a player. By the way, I guarantee any GM in the entire world wouldn't have given Darvish 5 50$ Million contract...

LOLWAT. welcome to the baseball forums, i see you just recently started watching baseball.

pAiLiXziX, I don't think you've watched a Yu Darvish outing. You can't seriously say Darvish has no secondary pitches with a straight face.
And tell me one team that wouldn't sign Darvish to a 5/50 contract, lmao

Didn't say he sucked. Just said he's overrated. 2.93 ERA is good, but you're telling me you'd rather have more K's than lower ERA? Yu Darvish has two nice primary pitches, but no secondary pitches to throw off a player. By the way, I guarantee any GM in the entire world wouldn't have given Darvish 5 50$ Million contract...

Yes I have, stop being a homer. His secondary pitches aren't on the level of Kershaw, or Harvey's.... Like I said no one in the world would've given Yu Darvish that 5 year contract.

And yet you're still a better team than the Marlins/Mets.

Not saying Yu Darvish isn't good. He's not. He's excellent. But he doesn't deserve the starting role, there are 3 pitchers that deserve it ahead of him.

What are you talking about? He has the ERA and STRIKEOUTS.
No GM would give Darvish that money? are you kidding me? stop trolling rofl.
You said his secondary pitches are 'absolutely weak'..I lold...He's leading the league in strikeouts and only throws his fastball about 50% of the time...What does that tell you about his secondary pitches? He's near the top if not the leader in swing and miss %
No one is saying he should or shouldnt be the starter...you're just saying hes overrated lolol and thats a joke.

You have no idea what you're talking about lol, Im just curious why you hate him so much LOLOL

His MLB leading 13.5% (next closest is 12.6) swing and miss rate really shows how weak his stuff is.

Fine I'll stahp.

Harvey is a lock in for NL though.

Kershaw might edge him out, I hope not especially with it being on our turf.

I can understand thinking he doesn't deserve to start the All-Star game. But to post complete bullshit as your reasoning makes me lol.
I think Scherzer and Felix are ahead of Yu for the starting spot, they'd had better 1st-halves. Darvish's downfall is his consistency, the other 2 have him beat there

Felix has always been the best consistent pitcher. It's a shame his talent is getting wasted. But he's content on staying with his team, a very loyal guy.
