Just fucking pull the trigger as long as Chabot/White are not involved. We are in our window and Duchene would elevate us even more into a contender position. Karlsson is in his PRIME

I imagine Colorado is asking something along the lines of Roster Player + 1st Rounder + Prospect for Duchene.



As an Oiler fan you'd hope Maroon knows his place/worth is very dependent on being on Connors wing. But there certainly is no reason Maroon and his agent might not come asking for money based on what they've seen the Oilers sign Lucic/McDavid/Draisatl for. Imagine if Maroon signs for $6M, Oilers could be in cap trouble real quick @___@

Duchene is one of my favorite players, and as a wings fan, i could never justify buying an avalanche jersey, i would much rather pick up an ottawa duchene jersey

Like you've mentioned. He's the player he is today because of who he's playing with. And I'm sure he'd like to stick around and continue being "the guy" that plays with mcdavid. We will see.
