I really don't get why people think the mainstream media is biased against Trump.

Trump acts like an idiot, and they cover it to get ratings.

Them negatively covering Trump is the only reason why he made it to the presidency in the first place. The profit motive kept him in the headlines, without that Trump would have been dismissed and never seen the light of the debates.
