I want term limits so people with principles get into office not poster child that most uninformed voters will continue to vote for them because the incumbent knows exactly which platitudes to repeat and has the right (R) or (D) label next to their name. I'm curios have you seen the statistics on how hard it is to vote an incumbent out of office? When you have the weight of the political establishment & money from special interests not that hard to steer the sheep in who to vote for.
I care, 5 trillion dollars worth of debt incurred from dumbass wars, American soldiers lives lost, millions of people hating us all across the ME and for what?
Term limits won't solve voter ignorance and it won't get "principled people" into office. At the end of the day, voters are going to cast their vote for the person with the best message and it's the message you disagree with most likely.

>accuses others of being heartless scumbags
Baseless accusation. Try to form a real argument if you want to discuss something.

Waah! He didn't express sadness that the warmonger is dying!
As opposed to experienced politicians who know which lobbyists to turn to for "advice?"
You should definitely not refer to the false dichotomy of "the voters reelected him" as anything other than an indictment of a failed system. Senators shouldn't even be elected by the people anyways.
Man, it's a good thing you didn't have a career in the military. You have almost no respect for its members and you may have gotten someone killed due to your focus on individualism.
Not sure why you're bringing the 17th amendment into this... it's not pertinent to you being a disrespectful person.
