what made things worse? two of the main reasons are unrestricted globalism and unrestricted immigration. many if not most of trumps voters voted for him for exactly those reasons.

A person who owes a ton of foreign debt and hires even more illegal immigrants?

whats the issue with foreign debt if you can pay it back?
and do you really think that the couple of thousand illegal immigrants that trump may or may not have employed in the past made a difference on the grand scale?

thing is: every real estate businessmen will have foreign debt and will have had his underlings' underlings employ illegal immigrants at one point or another.
