PIT-OTT deal involving Brassard is ultra-complicated, so much so that Brassard will likely first be traded to a team other than PIT. Then flipped to PIT. Hearing that third team is likely VGK. Potential for layers of salary retention.

Melnyk was too cheap to pay a 750k retention for Brassard so Vegas might be out of the trade now and Ottawa won't flip Ian Cole to them

Trade approved. Reaves and PIT 4th round pick to Vegas

Brass to Shittsburgh

Ian cole, Gustavsson, 2018 1st , 2019 3rd to OTT


Pretty sure Vegas retains some salary not sure how much
