Just got the go ahead to buy me a new reel.
Not looking to spend more than $100, prefer it to be spinning, so I'd like some options.

I've been looking at the Okuma Trios, 10 bearings w/12lb lw. Also been looking at Pflueger reels, wanting 9+/1 ball bearings reels, lmk your opinions guys.

wasn't meant to be helpful, but you didn't clarify casting or spinning reel. If casting, I can't help you.

FYI more bearings =/= a better reel necessarily

Read the red?
I've used reels that range from 1-10 and I prefer the higher amount.

Missed that lol
Best reel for your buck HANDS down is a shimano sedona, $60. Solid as fuck. I own both a Sedona (2500) and a Symetre (1000) i"d recommend both.

Shimano Symetre is annother good one (more money but a few ounces lighter than the Sedona).

I think the Shimano Sahara and Symetre are in yiur price range ($100).

Ive heard good things about the Pfleuger President spinning reel as well.

Penn (brand) is supposed to be good too.

was very calm snake. rattled some after a few minutes of my curiosity. non venomous, hope he continues to clean the mice out of the area

shimano symetre or sahara is the way to go for a ''cheap'' and amazing reel

the weight might be an issue...but apart from that, everything is amazing..like actually everything
I still own a symetre 500 for my finesse rod, it is amazing, I love it

i loved them both but I got some extra budget and I got some better reel(for my main rods)

I almost got the 500. Went with the 100 instead, can hold a shit ton of 6 lb test and isnt heavy at all, balances nicely with my 7' daiwa spinmatic ultra light rod.
