like if u keep finding the same gloves u can "convert them" for a random chance at any other set part

Ya, pretty handy initially, but ultimately they can't be ancient, so that feature gets a bit useless later on.

I thought they can be Ancient, but if you try to re-roll Ancient items they can become non.

Ya I thought so too. There are several different functions, you can reroll legs to become ancient, and can swap set gear for other set gear. The set gear that is swapped is rerolled, but no chance of an ancient roll. qq

There's another function where with some regular mats you can turn a yellow item into a random leg of the same type. That's kinda op at least.

Yeah I would say the rare-to-leg function is the best one (can these become ancient?)


Changing set item type is still good even without Ancient. Sometimes you can go a long time without finding that one elusive piece, Ancient or non.

everything crafted in the cube has a chance to be ancient
