I try. We are none of us perfect.
I've never met someone who has raped a woman so I don't know.
That's the answer I was looking for
We should always try and we generally fail. That's ok though in the eyes of God.
But let me go back to the other question of discouraging sin. Should we encourage others not to sin? Not to judge, but to help. If so, is it appropriate to try and get gays to not commit homosexual acts?

There are a lot of people who are practically brainwashed all throughout their lives and because of such don't have the same understanding of right and wrong as you do.
Is this their fault for being born into this?
No it is not their fault. I imagine that God is pretty forgiving and he reaches out to people in different ways.
