yupitsmeh, I have this topic bookmarked, waiting to see the pipes installed

Yeah im actually pretty nervous about the pipes, since this build really uses the pipes as a focus point.
Not sure how im going to perform when it comes to the bending process.
Im going to try and bend the GPU to CPU today

I cannot stand thick bulky cables, i can do excellent cable management with single braided cables.
I personally hate "extensions" just adds unwanted length to already long enough PSU cables.

End of the day, the quality of the sleeve and the fibers can make a sleeve look great or tacky.

Only thing im tempted about changing with my current cables is the routing for my GPU cables, and perhaps i may even consider using a single SATA sleeve for the GPU.

Ya not a fan of that pic...they can be made to look neat, but many many cables to me isn't neat...I understand what you're saying about thick bulky cables, and I wish I could express what I mean better...I saw a mod a while back that did something like I'm talking about, that's where the idea came from...it looked great...what about maybe doing black red, but instead of individual, maybe making them in pairs of 2 or 3, for a minimized amount of cables look...don't think I've seen anyone do that before, might look boss :P

I've seen plenty of cables, where half is fully sleeved and the other half is single sleeved, the reason they do this is because of their PSU cables not being a direct 1:1
Problem with multiple cables in a sleeve is the end of the connector exposes the inner cable, ugly.
Guess its just not every bodies taste.

Ya I've seen that too..I'm saying try something new...sleeve two or 3 together, and do black red black red or something...

Like there's 12 cables (if 2x6 pin is what I'm seeing) do if you did 3 per sleeve that would give you 4 sleeved black/red...I haven't seen anyone do that, maybe it would look good :P

Does that make more sense?

BES Plumbing supplies in Europe has sent me soft copper straight peipe instead of hard copper.
Attempted to bend my first pipe, the pipe gave way at the 90 degree bend.

Big problem, i had to get this specific pipe imported due to Australia only selling 12.7mm while Europe is still on the old system of 12.1mm
Sure enough the Crystal-link fittings from Bitspower require 12.1mm.
Which means i just blew $100 on soft copper straight pipe for nothing.

Now i need to figure out a way to sand 0.6mm off my 12.7mm pipes, evenly that is.
Not a good start.
