Actually a really good signing, considering he's at the end of the bench.

Good pinch/situational hitter.

He's not a good situational hitter at all. Watch him for this season, you'll see what I mean. Enjoy those solo homeruns when you're down by 15, and double plays when you're down by 1.

Farm systems are overrated rofl

look at the top players they've given up for guys like Halladay and Lee in the past years. How many of them are turning out like they were supposed to?

D'Arnaud is doing fine, thanks.

DON'T FUCKING RAIN ON MY PARADE ALRIGHT?

but he's got power, something our bench needs badly and didn't really have much of at all last season. All that matters is the Phillies bench is very much improved from last season, so QUIT HATIN KID

Did you guys forget that with the Phillies starting rotation they will easily coast into the playoffs.

Who the hell can even step to them in that division?

Not to mention the whole NL is pretty shitty.

By the time they make the playoffs, Howard will be back and Utley will be fine.

The regular season means nothing, as long as you win your division (this year)

You guys act like Blinked is trolling, but it's true...

Phillies have had the most wins in MLB the past 2 seasons lol, and that's been with Utley up and down not healthy, Polanco not healthy, etc. Not like this is any different.

Way too much talent on this team to have any problems making the playoffs. Honestly I'd rather them have to scrap and fight to get in, and not be able to take the last month of the season off and just coast in simply because they're already so far ahead like they've been the past 2 seasons. That's been one of the biggest problems, yeah they've won a shit ton of games the past few years but they go into the playoffs cold because they haven't played meaningful games in so long. I want to see this team scrap and fight and battle for a spot until late in the season so they have some fight in them.

Man, just give it up and stop trying.
Their peak was when they won the WS a few years back, it won't happen in 2012, nor 2013.
No question amazing team and will make the playoffs again but seriously.

Best team in baseball the past 2 years (no, not the hottest in the playoffs but the best overall).

I think the window is still plenty wide open LOL
