i thought people stacked 99 for the sole purpose of farming items?
havent played dark souls in awhile so i dont really remember how that works.

Invading the shit out of people in the Forest with my level 25 twink. Ran into a few modders that I couldn't beat, but for the most part it's been cake.

10 humanity max for drop rate/damage boosting, but defense gets minor boost for humanity past that iirc

anyone know if ng plus cycles boost drop rate at all?

I pretty much gave up on trying to Plat the game. Just couldn't pull if off on this equipment...

My end goal is to platinum it but it's one of those games that isn't really going to happen very easily.

I messed up two of the covenants already in my first playthrough, and I am going to have to get it in the next. It's things like that that make it very difficult.

Right now I am waiting to be summoned as a White Phantom so I can join the Warrior of Sunlight covenant without raising my Faith.

When in doubt, new characters are your friend. I always start out my character knowing what he/she will do, get to level 20, get summoned 1/2 a dozen times at the Bell Gargoyles, upgrade all my equipment, then carry on.

So easy to start over in this game and acquire gear. Makes me keep on doing it

Can you be summoned to help kill a boss that you yourself have not killed yet?

The answer is yes. I just fought Gwyn in co-op even though I haven't in my own world yet.
