Yeah there was an announcement a week or two they were doing this, i was losing my mind being a "competative" smasher. Seems like nintendo is actually trying to get the hardcore market this time around where as brawl was really trying to be a party game

i love that they're doing this cause i couldn't get used to smash with a more generic controller layout, played melee and brawl too long with a GCN controller
