i feel like the Lakers should have got better offer, Rockets are 3rd so a 27th pick & 1 year of Brewer on the books ? am i missing something?

Late first rounder isn't bad, I doubt Charlotte or Washington would have given up their first rounder

Most likely the best deal out there, i would be fine just giving Lou for a first round but $$ issues we had to take on Brewer.

We needed to trade him this year for sure though because he wasn't going to resign and he is getting old.

Not to mention if our Draft Pick is outside the top 3 it goes to Philly so we at least have a pick in this years draft.

we don't want cousins right now lol, we are in rebuild mode not playoff contenders mode. Did you really want to give up all our assets for him to just walk away next year? that would be the dumbest move ever.

If we got Cousins we would win a little more games but we still wouldnt make the playoffs, this would just worsen our draft pick and we would lose it to the 76ers for sure.

They wanted Ingram, a First round pick, and 2nd round pick. Our first round pick could be top 3.

We would Lose Ingram, 1st rounder and 2nd rounder, and Cousins would walk next year. He would not resign with us because why would he? Right now its a shit team. No way would we make Playoffs with Cousins this year so its pointless to even get him.

COUSINS CONTRACT EXPIRES END OF THIS SEASON, HE CAN WALK AWAY

Now we have a shot to Sign Cousins in the off season
Keep ingram
Keep our "hopefully" top 3 pick
keep 2nd round pick

if thats your mentality, then your team will never be good.
you're pretty much GAMBLING your team's future on a bunch of unproven young players. BTW NONE of them will become an all-star.
Ingram is averaging like 8 pts on 35% shooting. no way in hell hes gonna be the same level as Cousins.
We sign cousins now and get another superstar in the offseason like Butler/PG/Westbrook and we're fucking set.
the front office has been shit for so long, im just glad changes were made. I believe Magic will do something big for us.
