brg back bazemore? idk bout that

dudes grown alot great 3 n d guy, great attitude, not a superstar looking for attention, just bad that it didnt work out once MDA left, i think with BS gone no bridges are burned but he did state recently that he was not interested in going to a 17 win team (taking a shot at the Lakers)

Also if Ingram does go at 1st, Simmons would be amazing but need a few things to happen with FA's going forward, that experience he had with Russell in High School would be great for team ‌Chemistry.

C - Whiteside (max)
PF - Randle
SF - Simmons
SG - DD (max)
PG - Russell

only problem is spacing!, unless Randle and DD & Simmons all magically become sharp shooters it will be so hard to work with almost unworkable from what i think of each of those playters shooting abilitys.

Definitely how I feel about it as well, lol. Just happy we were able to keep the pick!

I'm extremely intrigued by Ingram's potential on the defensive side of the ball. His 7'3" wingspan should allow him to wreak havoc on that side of the ball with enough NBA reps. I'm not as concerned about his frame as everyone else seems to be. Easy to forget that he's more than a year younger than Simmons and still has plenty of time to grow into his body.

On the other side you have a 4 that should thrive in the modern day NBA with his elite court vision and ball handling. He's also a great fit for Luke Walton's offense and a Draymond Green prototype. People's concern with him seem to be his jump shot but I'm more concerned about his lack of length. With a 6'9" wingspan and a reputation for taking plays off, I don't think he'll ever be an impact player on that side of the ball. I do think he'll develop at least an average jumpshot, though. He didn't have carry the reputation of a poor shooter in high school and the sample size in college is too small to really draw any conclusions. His mechanics seem like they're fixable(tendency to shoot on his way down).

At the end of the day, I think Ingram is a better fit(you can argue a 3andD player is the #1 need on the team) but Simmons is the better talent and the Lakers are lucky to have the opportunity to draft either one.

I'm really worried about Ingram

His D is laughable, while defending the ball he is always hunched over. Can't get around screens, due to his size.

His size. Well I don't have to go Into detail

Can't rebound because he goes up looking like a wet noodle, due to his size

Of course his O game is strong

Can we get this kid to 225 pounds? ( currently 190, so they say )
He said he's eating 5,000 calories a day

In the end, give us Lakers Ben Simmons.

That's a terrible lineup. We won't win shit with 4 people who can't shoot.

Plus Luke's offense centers around ball movement and spacing. That's like the worst possible lineup for his offense lol.

Logically sixers should take ingram in terms of their need.

Simmons to sixers.
