I had a thread up earlier, and i just took it to a shop and yup it's 100% my clutch.

Anyone know what a new one costs? labor + parts ofc, i just dropped it off at a local garage and said here ya go make it fixed.

EDIT: Looks like its about 800 in parts, anyone have any idea about how much a labor charge would be for this? I'm thinking about 4-6 hours of labor?

About what does that cost?

Use your hear before asking for help.

Im assuming you arent doing the work yourself but do you wanna know the cost of just the clutch disk it self or the labor & other parts needed?

Sure you will need a throughout bearing, etc. also but if you wanna know price of just the parts go to autozone.com & look @ it or feel free to call & wait on hld with one of the idiots to look it up for you.

Holy shit, 1500$ for a clutch job?!?!?!?!?!?!

I don't think I have ever paid over 150$ to put a clutch in a car. Guess that's one more reason not to buy a Honda. I could but an entire car faster than that Honda for what a clutch job costs.

Its not the fact that its a Honda. Connections in the automotive world are everything.

You cant tell me you can bring your car to a random shop and they'll charge you $150 to replace the clutch.

I'm not, I'm addressing this line:
"I don't think I have ever paid over 150$ to put a clutch in a car. Guess that's one more reason not to buy a Honda."

I just stated the fact that its not because its a Honda, clutch jobs are not cheap unless you have connections.

Stop nuthugging MY dick, random.

The clutch itself is just under $800. It's because it's an s2000 not a civic. an accord or a civic is a couple hundred, but performance cars everything is pricey. I mean i pay $200 PER TIRE when i got those replaced. It's just how it is.

But I am hoping to stay around 1300. I think I can live with that.
