Our farm system is so terrible after Britton and Machado. Machado and Britton are two of the best prospects in baseball but I don't think we have one other minor league player even close to the top 100.

The people we are going to add to the 40 are garbage. Angle is at best a speedy 4th OF and pinch runner that when he does get a start will hit 9th in the order, Mahoney is garbage he had one good year when he was very old for the leagues he played in and it wasn't even an out of the world season, Adams can't play defense at all and isn't that good with the bat.

You don't want Fielder. He has boras as his agent which means it is 99.9% certain that he will try to explore the free agent market and only go to the highest bidder. Either that, or you will have to give him a Ryan Howard like contract of 25mil per hear for 6-7 years.
