Your analysis is very ugly and you failed to do the most important thing. And that is making a little summary, taking into account pros and cons and put them in an easy read format (not just summarasing with : treachery is better, period). I have no time to check this now, and I am not compelled to read it later.
Plus as I can see (maybe wrong cause its fucking confusing when fast scrolling) setup #2 is better with fortitude. Which is an infinity setup. So "you think" ? fu ego driven bastard, I guess your warn 90% is there just because you are too intelligent for others. (this is sarcasm, and I'm emphasizing it cause your ego might block you from realising it).
Plus my not optimal mercenaries, when I play the game, tend to die with threachery. Even before that cursed fade is cast, and that happens a lot, especially if you are into fast rushes, dieing mercenary is a sad story.
Then at some point I get fortitude, and all of a sudden he does not die and ultimately just based on this fact he kills more for me. Cause I don't have to rebuy him for 100 games.
