i remember when the giants started off 5-0 last season, one of those wins was a win @ dallas lol!

giants defense gave up 14.2 ppg in those 5 games, then they get raped by injuries and give up 40+ points in 5 of their remaining 11 games, pretty hard to win when your defense is in shambles.

with the emphasis on defense in the offseason acquiring defensive mind perry fewell (just look at what he did with the bills secondary last season), veteran keith bulluck, stud safety antrel rolle, and some young talent in the draft the nfc east is in some trouble in 2010. the giants are getting completely overlooked.

I like Mike & Mike in the morning.. and they usually respect the Giants but this is unreal... how could we POSSIBLY be worse than last year when we have soooo many upgrades be it new personnel or players coming back healthy.

I don't think people realize that we had ZERO, ZERO DEFENSE last season.

We had THE WORST safety tandem in the NFL

We had the WORST DC in the NFL.. he was even worse than Tim Lewis and that's saying ALOT

Couple that with a boat load of injuries and it's a miracle we went 8-8

Whether we win the division or not will depend how we play vs non divisional teams. Some times we also tend to slip vs sup par teams

I could honestly see us sweeping the division as hard as that is.. I just can't see Philly or Washington beating us if we play how we are capable of. Sweeping Dallas 2 years in a row would be priceless.

Not saying we will but I could see us sweeping if we don't have a let down game based on talent.

Whether we sweep or not isn't that big of a deal.. I'm just looking forward to going deep into the playoffs if we can stay relatively healthy

How sweet would it be if the Redskins swept Dallas this year... poetic. Those are usually though games for Dallas. Now being they've improved with a new coach should be interesting

Does anyone know if Washington is switching primarily to a 3-4 defense? Wouldn't fletcher be kind of useless?
