yup. griffey is still playing, torii hunter is still better than 1/2 the CFers in MLB and hes like 35.
howard will start declining MAYBE by like 2015, but then will have a contract year, and hopefully get paid big bucks to DH in the AL.

You say he has improved his plate discipline but the percentage of pitches he swings at outside the strike zone has increased each year.

Yea the people in Philly may be happy right NOW but we will see what happens in the midst of his this deal.
