Yea but I don't think the the director was trying to make that point, I think he was trying to make the point that the blade is controlling Dean completely and has completely taken over his mind and make him have a crazy bloodlust for killing. Remember the burden with the scar?
but yea Metatron says he knows how the story is going to end and he controls the plot, so he probably knew his soldier would double-cross him and get killed by dean, I think Metatron is honestly going to have some pretty crazy twist at the end, something that's going to backfire on Dean, Sam, and Cass, he's a sneaky dude, he's about to fuck shit up pretty bad in the finale!

They killed off Abaddon quite unceremoniously, she barely put up a fight. Seems like they are rushing the finale. Wasted all that time on those lame subplots and rushed the finale. I may not watch next season. Really hope the storyline and writing improve by next season. This writing has been bad and wayyyyy too many filler episodes
Yea they wasted it with a subplot that failed to continue, they wasted it with horrible fillers, I heard the original director ended the series at season 5, and other random people decided to continue the show... is this true?
